We are happy to welcome Dr. Russell Green PT to our practice and are wishing Dr. Mahan the best as she continues her journey in another part of Texas. We are grateful for the four years she served the local community.
Dr. Russell Green PT, DPT attended The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, earning his undergraduate degree in Exercise Sports Science in 2016. During his four years in undergraduate studies, Dr. Green started for The Cru's Men's Basketball team all four years. In 2013 The Cru competed for the Division III Men's Basketball National Championship. Following his undergraduate studies and collegiate basketball career, he attended The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor's DPT program, earning his Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2018. In September of 2020, Dr. Green joined the staff at Magnolia Physical Therapy. He has a passion to work with patients of all ages ranging from babies reaching milestones to seniors rehabbing from surgeries or wanting to become more active. He is trained in Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) and looks to get his certification in Dry Needling in the near future. Dr. Green is always eager to learn new techniques and skills to provide the highest quality of care and treatments for his patients. It is his belief that no matter the deficit, there is always room to improve!
Dr. Green resides in Magnolia with his wife Macy, daughter Grace, and their pug Decker. His wife is currently a teacher at Magnolia High School. She also played collegiate basketball at UMHB where she obtained her undergraduate degree in Math/Education and her Masters of Science in Education. Prior to moving to Magnolia, they resided in Belton, Texas for 8 years. Shortly after their daughter was born, they moved back to the Houston area to be closer to family. In his spare time he enjoys fishing on the coast, hunting, spending time on the lake wake surfing, and working on projects around the house. Needless to say, grass does not grow under his feet!
The staff here at Magnolia PT look forward to treating you and helping you attain and surpass your personal goals!

Chelsea Igler, PTA I am graduate of Lonestar College. I obtained my degree for Physical Therapy Assistant in 2017. My passion is rehabbing those that have loss functional mobility. I enjoy seeing someone regain their loss of function and return to a healthy lifestyle. I have a good background in pediatrics, sports medicine and geriatrics. I take great pride in seeing patients that come in with pain, leave as close to pain free as I can get them.
I live in Magnolia with my husband. One of my hobbies is physical fitness. I spend a lot of time in the gym maintaining my overall heath, which I feel is important. Aside from work and family, something else I enjoy is volunteering my time with various organizations. I believe that service is important, not only to those I treat, but to those in my community that require other types of services separate from rehab. I never wish for anyone to need my services, but if you should, I am always here to help. We have a great team hear at Magnolia Physical Therapy and we don’t just work, we enjoy what we do.
